EXCITE (Enhancement anad Expansion in Capability in Information Technology and English) Seminar

This 5-day training offers various courses relevant and applicable to our daily teaching situation. The topics are very interesting and commendable to all public school teachers.

I gained different strategies and techniques in using Microsoft Excel. I also acquired skill and knowledge in creating a blog. These new learning are really useful to teachers as far as the enhancement of students is concern.

My only dilemma is that to be able to deliver this information to others specially to our students is to first, we should have enough facilities for this new technology. The government should also prioritize the education by means of providing the school necessary educational equipments.

Hopefully, through this seminar we can commit to the changes and respond to the global competition we are facing nowadays.

The issue on the impeachment of Chief Justice Renato Corona

Our political arena is again in the midst of atrocities. Throwing different issues and giving their own sides and comments making our political system even more fun.Truly, IT IS MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES; only in the Philippines according to the Department of Tourism.

Nowadays, the issue is about the impeachable position of our Judicial Supreme Power in the name of Renato Corona as being the Chief Justice himself. He has been facing an impeachment case initiated by no other than his "political detractors". Cases were filed against him and these include graft and corruption and other cases related to betrayal of public trust. This move was started just last month when the lower house (congress) decided to bring the case into the higher house (senate) through a resolution passed by the congress declaring the merit of the case found to have probable cause. The next action would be in the hands of our senator-judges which will lead the hearing of the case.

To cut the long story short, this was all "political entertainment". Hopefully everything ends well. And to make it possible i would suggest to CJ Corona to do his resignation as early as now to avoid the worsening of the situation, besides in the end the senator-judges will give their verdict not in accordance with the merit of the case but through their conscience. And I believe that they have already made their mind most probably favorable to their own self interest.
